RACHEL SANDLER is VP, TV LAND PRESS

| Rachel Lizerbram Sandler has been named the head of TV Land Communications. Sandler, who is currently vice president, will continue to be based in New York and report directly to Larry Jones.
In this position, Sandler oversees all facets of publicity, media relations and internal communications for TV Land and TV Land PRIME, the network’s new prime time programming block. Sandler serves on the network’s strategy team and will be responsible for the creation and execution of communications strategies for TV Land PRIME original shows. In addition, she will oversee publicity for TV Land’s specials, programming acquisitions, website, marketing initiatives and outside partnerships as the network continues to create the ultimate entertainment destination for people in their 40s and 50s.
Sandler has been with TV Land since 2004, and most recently spearheaded publicity efforts for “She’s Got The Look,” TV Land’s original reality series which searched for the next great supermodel – over 35. She has also been instrumental in press efforts for originals such as “High School Reunion,” “Family Foreman,” “I Pity The Fool,” “Chasing Farrah,” and the annual “TV Land Awards.”
From 2002 to 2004, she was at Robinson Lerer & Montgomery, serving as director and then vice president, where she was responsible for publicity on the AOL Entertainment account. Her responsibilities included promoting AOL Music and consumer publicity for programming such as “Sessions@AOL” and “Broadband Rocks.” In addition, she worked on publicity for AOL Television programming initiatives including “TV’s Top 5!” as well as events and talent relations for several channels within AOL Entertainment.
Prior to joining Robinson Lerer & Montgomery, Sandler worked at VH1 from 1998 to 2002, where she held positions of increasing responsibility including publicist and manager of communications, respectively. While there, she was responsible for implementing numerous campaigns for VH1’s original and acquired programming launches including “VH1 Storytellers” and “VH1 Divas Las Vegas.”
Sandler holds a Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY. She currently resides in Westchester with her husband and two sons.
