LAUREL WICHERT is VP, TV LAND RESEARCH
| Laurel Wichert is now the vice president of TV Land research. Wichert has been with TV Land for six years, first working as a manager and then as a senior director of TV Land research. During her beginning years with TV Land, she managed the research project that developed TV Land’s brand imagery, tone, voice, and programming strategy. With her knowledge of the adult demographic that TV Land targets, she wrote an extensive study on the Boomer age of 40-somethings and their shopping habits and brand decisions. In Wichert’s new role, she will oversee the analysis and ratings production, and also will be in charge of creating and executing the in-depth and strategic approach involved in the integrated marketing research plans for TV Land and Tvland.com. Based on her audience expertise, she will develop strategic consumer insights whilst assessing and updating information on the programming and development strategy as well as ratings trends based on the consumer view for TV Land and television in general. Laurel Wichert earned her communications degree at Seton Hall University in New Jersey. Before her association with TV Land, Wichert worked for CBS as a supervisor of audience analysis, producing ratings analysis for broadcast television. She also served as a production assistant for CNBC TV show, “Riveria Live.” Wichert remains a New Jersey native, currently living in Rutherford, New Jersey with her husband. |
